Panel grooving machines

panel groover

The various technologies, machines and systems that interest the panel grooving process could be very different based on several factors. the first distinction must be made between the concept of "machine" and the concept of "plant / system". Obviously it is intended as "machine" the installation that involves the use of a machinery managed and served by a manual operator, while we speak of "plant / system" when most of the movement of the panels to be processed is entrusted to automations. In the case of automatic systems, we generaly talk mostly of machines with through-feed advancement of the work-piece.

The number of grooving tools used for example is very important to define the type of machine. Follow this, we identify mainly "mono" or "multiple" panel groovers. Then within the "Multiple" there is to be distinguished in base on the orientation of the main spindle that could be inferior (eg. from the bottom) or superior (eg. fom the top). Important is also the type and geometry of the grooving tools itself. The shape of the tools is is close relation with the decoration wanted and the surface of the workpiece. in fact, we speak more frequently about circular shaped tools for panel grooving machines.
